Air-Assisted Airless application also uses high pressure fluid supplied by a pump, but at
pressures 20-40% lower than those required for Airless spraying. The Air-Assisted technique also uses an aircap to deliver a small amount of air to aid in completing the pattern formation. Lower fluid pressure causes less wear on the equipment and a finer finish because of the softer pattern.
